Idan Levi
Director

Idan Levi, director at ASERO Worldwide, has close to 10 years of experience in the field of aviation security. Mr. Levi held senior leadership positions with El Al Airlines and Ben Gurion International airport, where he managed security assessments, executed high level personnel evaluations and directed security personnel both in Israel and abroad.

Prior to joining ASERO, Mr. Levi worked as a Senior Aviation Security Officer for El Al Airlines. In this capacity, Mr. Levi was responsible for preparing and executing security inspections at airport facilities worldwide. In addition, he directed a team of airport security personnel at a new El Al facility abroad. Mr. Levi conducted a full threat, vulnerability and risk assessment of the facility, adapted and implemented standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the security personnel operating on the ground and training, conducted quality assurance and provided ongoing instruction for the security team.

Before joining the security division of El Al Airlines, Mr. Levi worked as a security duty manager at Ben Gurion International Airport where he managed a force of several hundred security personnel including screeners, profilers and zone supervisors, who conduct the security screening of all of the passengers and luggage that pass through Ben Gurion airport.

Mr. Levi has expertise in the fields of cognitive screening, explosives detection systems and vulnerability assessments.

Mr. Levi holds an LLB from Hebrew University and is a qualified attorney with a specialization in criminal justice. He completed his professional internship with the Tel Aviv District Attorney's office.
