Gilad Hachmon
Director

Gilad Hachmon, director at ASERO Worldwide, has more than 10 years of experience in the field of aviation security. Mr. Hachmon previously held senior positions with El Al Israel Airlines (El Al) and Ben Gurion International Airport, where he directed and trained security personnel in Israel and abroad.

Prior to joining ASERO, Mr. Hachmon served as the senior security officer for El Al, the national airline of Israel, at Hong Kong International Airport. In this position, he was responsible for the implementation of new technological security systems, including x-ray, explosive detection devices and ionscan machines. He also served as a regional instructor responsible for training personnel on ionscan security technology in all El Al stations in Asia. In addition, he acted as the liaison between El Al and Hong Kong Airport Authority for matters concerning the hold baggage screening system and passenger screening.

Prior to his role at El Al, Mr. Hachmon worked as a security duty manager at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv. In this capacity, he was responsible for commanding a force of several hundred security personnel, including screeners, profilers and zone supervisors, who conduct the security screening of all of the passengers and luggage that pass through Ben Gurion airport. In addition to his operational responsibilities, Mr. Hachmon was also an instructor on aviation security, leading a number of courses for training security zone supervisors. Before joining the security division at Ben Gurion Airport, he served as a crew commander in the Israeli Defense Force’s Artillery Corp.

Mr. Hachmon also has expertise in explosives detection systems, explosives trace detection, walk-through and hand-held metal detectors, technological implementation and security preparedness systems. He is currently working toward a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Food Science from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
